Framing Your Image with Lines

This can get pretty extensive, or kept quite simple.  You should decide what will enhance or compliment the photo.

On this one of my mom... a bright brilliantly colored frame would not look good in my mind... Something fairly simple... or yet classy or a dab of elegance, but I don't want it to over power my image... just compliment it.

I will show you a few easy ways to create frames.

Now I think this is cute, but now I need another border over the entire thing....
Click Selections/Select All
Click Selections/Modify/Contract by 2
Click Selections/Invert
Fill with your desired filler

Now I think it needs shadow... some but not over done.... just enough to make it stand out a tad.

Click Selections/Select All
Click Selections/Float
Click Effects/3D Effects/Drop Shadow
Here are my settings
notice the minus sign in front of the 1's  that places a shadow left and up
once you put a shadow on it....
Repeat the Shadow steps this time remove the minus sign in from of the 1's to place it right and down

This gives a nice effect.
